How to Lose Fat Fast
Filed Under Fat Loss, Nutrition | Leave a Comment
If you’re trying to lose fat fast, there are a few ’secrets’ that are really simple once you get a handle on them.
And I’m going to give you a peak inside my ‘emergency’ system today, so hold on tight, and make sure you read this entire thing.
Three of the most important aspects of losing fat are, in order of importance:
1. nutrition
2. weight training (keeping your muscles from deteriorating)
3. cardio training for fa-t loss
Your nutrition is by far and away the most important part of your fat loss program. You can train with weights and do cardio until you turn 15 different shades of purple and you’ll still end up frustrated and confused if the nutrition part isn’t in order.
If you want to lose 8 lbz of fa-t in 4 weeks, here’s how to handle the nutrition portion…
For men, multiply your body weight (or your desired bodyweight) by 10
For women, multiply your body weight (or your desired body weight) by 8.
This number is the number of calories you should consume per day.
I’ve found it best to split it into 4-6 meals per day consisting of a ratio of 40-40-20 of protein-carbs-fa-t per meal.
I recommend you follow this protocol no longer than 4 weeks at a time. These calculations will put you in a severe calorie deficit.
This is what I call the “I wanna lose fa-t now! Nutrition Program”
It’s really easy, and REALLY effective.
However, if you follow it for more than 4 weeks, you’ll hit a sticking point and will need to make changes to your program to keep your metabolism revved at maximum capacity…
this sticking point is what I’ve named “the hamster wheel effect”…
yes, it’s a technical term ![]()
And it occurs frequently during any program, whether you’re trying to lose fat or gain muscle.
The thing is you’ll fall in 1 of 5 different categories, and based on your progress at particular benchmarks, you’ll need to adjust your program specifically depending on the category you fall into. If you’d like to minimize the amount of time you spend on the hamster wheel or avoid it all together, you can find detailed instructions at the
Lose Fat Fast homepage
Cardio is optional… I would keep it at a minimum, though, 20 minutes 3-4 days per week.
But it’s extremely important that you train with weights to make sure you reduce the amount of muscle loss, and to keep your metabolism burning at full throttle.
If you’re not sure of the appropriate training program to use or want a more detailed step-by-step instructions, you can find it here:

Contentment, Frustration, Anger…
Filed Under Fat Loss, weight loss | 3 Comments
Odd subject, right? Let me explain… with nearly anything
that causes massive action, we will go through phases, and
each phase illicits a certain amount of action.
The 3 phases are:
1) Contentment - state of being satisfied
2) Frustration - feeling of dissatisfaction, often accompanied
by anxiety or depression
3) Anger - a strong feeling of displeasure
Usually, these three phases take place in order… and somewhere
along the line (it’s different for each person) we decide to
take real action to solve the problem…
But regardless of your current state, whether you’re content,
frustrated, or absolutely angry at your current fitness level
there is something you can do about it now, and certain steps
to take depending on which “state” your currently in.
So, instead of wasting hours writing about each state and what
to do if you’re in that state, I’m asking you to tell me where
you feel you are right now..
And based on the response, I will try to help guide you down
the right path..
so, tell me… are you….
Content about your current fitness level? Perfectly happy with the
way you look, the way you feel, and the way others respond to you?
Frustrated? Do you feel slightly content, but when you look into
the mirror, do you get frustrated because you have a bit more pudge
than you’d like? Are you frustrated looking for a solution, but not
really sure what to do? Frustrated, but hope something comes along and
draws your attention, and when it does, you’ll “KNOW” that’s the solution?
Angry? Have you past the point of being frustrated, and now when you
look in the mirror or try on new clothes it makes you feel damned
determined to lose weigh-t.. and lose it NOW? So displeased with
things, that you do anything to help drop fa-t?
Let me help you by telling me where you are and where you want to go…

’til next time, Train Hard & Live Easy!

Peels Fat Right Off Your Belly
Filed Under Fat Loss, Motivation | Leave a Comment
I get a kick out of ads for programs that tell me I’ll lose weight quickly and easily without ever hitting a plateau.
I’m guessing they’ve been snorting a little too much crazy glue…
yes… you can lose weight quickly..
yes… you can lose weight easily…
Yes, you can also barrel through plateaus with ease.
But… to say you’ll never hit a plateau is ridiculous and irresponsible… it’s how our body is designed.
They’re incredibly adaptive.
So, are you gonna tell me that you can follow the program you see on t.v. forever and keep losing fat?
Are you going to tell me that a year worth of workout training programs from xyz celeb trainer will keep you from hitting a fat loss plateau?
Yeah, you can lose some fat with these types of programs…
But you’ll still hit a fat loss plateau.
So will just changing up a few reps and exercises in your program keep you from hitting a sticking point?
No.
Just changing the exercises & workout sequence only puts a temporary bandage on the problem.
Fat Loss plateaus are real.
Breaking through them is TOUGH.
Not knowing how to explode through them without missing a beat will leave you frustrated, confused, and anxious to throw in the towel.
And that’s JUST what these companies want..
They want to leave you just pudgy enough to come back for more.
To buy their next big product.
If you’re gonna burn fat 24/7, 365 days a year and get into the best shape of your life, you better prepare yourself with more than just a handful of “intense” workouts and rep schemes.
Because it takes a hell of a lot more than just throwing around a dumbbell.
The most fit people in the world are the ones who know how to bust through sticking points to constantly burn fat and achieve the body of their dreams.
Arm yourself with a battering ram:

Killer Ab Exercise You Won’t Even Feel
Filed Under Ab Exercises, Ab Training, Ab Workout, Workout | Leave a Comment
Not many people know it, but i have a passion for tennis…
I know, right? Can you imagine seeing 240lbz of muscle running around on a tennis court chasing a little green fuzzy ball for hours at a time??
I can’t either, and I’m sure it’s a sight to see…
And I even catch people that witness it with their own eyes doing a few double takes as they walk by, but allow me to brag a little…
I’m damn good at it..
– end of brag –
Anyway, the reason I bring up tennis, is that this video is shot at a local tennis court. A few buddy’s and I were going out for a quick practice session…
…and I decided to bring a video camera and an 8 pound med ball.
This exercise is K-I-L-L-E-R.. one of my all time favs because you get a kick butt ab workout and you don’t even realize it, because your main focus is having fun and focusing on your partner & the ball..
check it out…
